It's a sad but inevitable fact that age takes its toll. We're forced to accept that the bloom of youth eventually fades. Skin which was once young, fresh and free from lines and wrinkles, only lasts so long. So it's important we do everything possible to preserve what we have for as long as we can.

As well as coping with wind, rain and sun, we're also engulfed in a daily smog of man-made chemicals, toxins and pollutants - the damaging effects of which we're only just starting to realise. And our faces are first to feel the strain.

Fighting Fifty was launched by Tracey McAlpine. Back in the 1980s, Tracey was a high-flying advertising executive, working for agencies such as Saatchi and Saatchi. She put her career on hold to bring up two children. And has now embarked on her new web venture.

The Fighting Fifty website is proving extremely popular, and we were delighted that both Tracey and her beauty expert, Nikki Taylor, gave our serum such a ringing endorsement.
