'Bizmum' finds remedy in natural face skin care

18th Mar 2010

We have just received the following email from Julia Damassa (right), which - with her kind permission - I thought should be shared on the blog. Thank you, Julia, for taking the time to write. It's fantastic to have such positive feedback.

I am a bizmum, aged 43. Since turning 40, I've been having problems with my facial skin that I never experienced before - WRINKLES and SPOTS! It's like having teenage issues and aging crises all rolled into one!

Perhaps my hectic lifestyle of balancing family, work and home is a contributing factor; a stress that is making my skin cry for help. Maybe it is simply a matter of hormones and hormonal changes as I make my way towards the menopause!

Whatever the underlying root of my 'problem skin', it is without doubt an unwelcome blemish on my life. Until now - for now I have discovered Botanicals.

Using Botanicals natural skincare products has made such a difference to the quality and care of my skin. Not only do the products feel great but they smell wonderful too. This is multi-sensory skin care, where the touch, feel, look and smell of the products has been deeply considered.

Were they edible, they would probably taste good too! There is also a beneficial impact on my well-being, confidence and positivity as a result of using the Botanicals range.

Here are some of my favourites and why..

Rose and Camellia natural face serum: beautiful luxurious feel that moisturises and soothes.

Ginkgo & bergamot natural shampoo and Ginkgo & bergamot natural conditioner: used and loved by all the family. The only shampoo to have cleared up my 8 year old son's cradle cap.

Chamomile natural face cleanser and Natural clay mask: wonderfully refreshed and toned feeling when washed off, washes off easily leaving no sticky residue. Great smell (works for my husband too!)

Organic body balm: As you know, I love all three fragrances of lavender, rose but my fave is orange blossom. We use small samples of the hand balm in the Storyshaper's training which is one of the services that my company delivers to education, library and family learning teams. The training room smells wonderful as a result of us all using the balms. Everyone always comments on how lovely the balm is.

Quick summary then:

The Botanicals range represents great value for money because you only need a tiny amount of product per use, so they last for ages.

They are clearly made with such care and consideration for the user. This is quality, ethos and environmental care.

Wonderful customer service from Wendy and her team.
