New look to celebrate our 10th anniversary
14th Apr 2014
Botanicals was born in 2004. During the last 10 years, our completely natural and organic skincare products have won both consumer praise and industry awards. To celebrate this important anniversary in style, we've decided to create a fresh and eye-catching new look.
Choosing the right design hasn't been easy. We've looked at lots and lots of ideas, ranging from Victorian floral to modern minimalist. We've spoken to colour consultants and branding experts. We've even had a dedicated Pinterest board to get instant feedback.
We soon discovered that everybody has had different ideas of what they like - and don't like. But we feel the design we've finally chosen is both elegant and simple. And more importantly, it reflects our ethos - focusing on the apothecary nature of the company, and the emotional, physical and holistic benefits of our products. And it allows the products to speak for themselves, rather than cloaking them in over-dressed packaging.Last year we won a 'Best Free-From Skincare Brand' award. The judges said:
A wonderful range of mother nature-inspired products – unashamedly and charmingly English, with considerate environmental and ethical foundations, and demonstrating good understanding of natural ingredients and their particular qualities. Very well tolerated, low allergen and ‘free-from’ friendly products, which deserve to be more widely known.
We feel this new design will help us build on the success of the last 10 years. And also make both Botanicals and our range of nature-inspired products more widely known.
We'll be formally launching the new look at the prestigious 'Holistic Health Show' - which is part of Beauty UK - at Birmingham's NEC on 18th & 19th May. If you're visiting the show, we'd love to see you. You'll find us at Stand W11. Tickets cost £20 on the door, but you can pre-register for free entry by clicking here.
We've still got lots of work to do, finishing all the labels, as well as taking the new design through all our literature, the website - and this blog. But we have to be ready - in our bright new clothes - for the show opening in mid-May. We'd love to hear your views on the new design - good or bad, but hopefully not indifferent. Please leave your thoughts below.
