The Benefits of Rosehip Oil

Loved by celebrities such as Victoria Beckham, Gwyneth Paltrow and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Rosehip truly is a ‘wonder oil’ - and one of our all-time favourite ingredients.
Benefits of Rosehip Oil
- Helps prevents premature ageing
- Reduces scars and wrinkles
- Improves skin flexibility and permeability
- Stimulate cell renewal and regeneration
- Protects the skin against free radicals
- Helps the skin regain it’s natural tone and colour
The Science
One of the reasons rosehip oil is so beneficial is that it works at a cellular level to rejuvenate the skin. It’s rich in anti-ageing antioxidants as well as Vitamin A, C, E, B-carotene and Gamma Linolenic Acid.
Vitamin A has small enough molecules to penetrate the skin’s lower layers, improving moisture levels and reducing fine lines and wrinkles, while Vitamin C contains high levels of natural antioxidants that combat free radicals and stimulate collagen production.
The essential fatty acids in rosehip oil also act as natural emollients helping promote skin regeneration, improve skin tone, texture and pigmentation.
How We Use It
Given its proven benefits, it's little wonder that our formulating team use rosehip oil as the key ingredient in our ‘Nourish’ skin care range.
However, what makes the Nourish range extra special, is the use of cold-pressed organic rosehip oil, which comes from the seeds of a specific variety of wild rose grown in South America.
This beautiful certified organic oil contains higher levels of anti-ageing, antioxidants, and has a GLA content of almost 50% - aimed to deliver superior benefits for youthful looking skin.
